What happens to my sim account when I transition?
When you move to live, your sim account closes and your live account opens with a clean slate. Any profit you have not yet withdrawn from the sim account at that moment does not carry across and is not paid out separately — but because GFF's structure rewards withdrawing as you earn, this is typically just the small buffer since your last payout. Live then more than makes up for it: no per-payout caps, daily withdrawals, and 90% of everything you make from the first dollar.
What if I have multiple sim accounts?
Great news if you trade more than one account: when the risk team approves you for transition, every sim account that has taken at least one approved payout is combined into a single live account with you. Your live account size is determined by summing your eligible sim account sizes, capped at 150K — GFF's largest live tier.
A few examples:
1× 50K → 50K Live ($2,000 drawdown)
2× 25K Sprint → 50K Live ($2,000 drawdown)
3× 50K → 150K Live ($4,500 drawdown — sum capped at GFF max)
1× 100K + 1× 150K → 150K Live ($4,500 drawdown — sum capped)
Any sim account that has not taken a payout yet is simply closed and its account fee refunded to you.
Why do all my eligible accounts move to live together?
Because once you have proven yourself, we want your whole book on live — not just one account. Combining every eligible account into your live account means your full track record is rewarded at once, with your sim sizes adding together (up to the 150K cap) to give you the biggest possible live account to trade.
Can I decline the transition to live?
Transitioning is the whole point of the Path to Live, so once you are approved it is not something you opt out of. That is by design — it is the step up you have been earning: real GFF capital, daily uncapped payouts, and a 90% profit share.
Do I need to sign anything?
Yes — you will receive the GFF Live Funded Trader Agreement, which covers your live account. It is separate from the agreement that applied to your sim accounts.
Will I trade on the same platform?
In most cases, yes. If your data provider (CQG, dxFeed, Rithmic, Tickblaze) supports live when you qualify, you will carry on with the same platform you already know. If it does not support live just yet, you can either switch to another provider and its connected platforms or wait until we add yours.
