The consistency rule ensures that your profits are distributed across multiple trading days rather than depending on one unusually large winning day.
It measures how much of your total profit for the current evaluation or payout cycle came from your most profitable trading day.
How is consistency calculated?
Use the following calculation:
Highest-profit day ÷ total profit for the cycle × 100
Your highest-profit day must not be more than the consistency threshold for your account type. Landing exactly on the threshold is allowed.
Consistency thresholds by account type
Account type | Evaluation | Funded |
EOD Challenge | 50% | 30% |
1-Day-Pass-Plan | No consistency rule | 35% |
Instant Classic | Not applicable | 20% |
Flex Challenge | 50% | No consistency percentage |
Worked example
You have $3,000 in total profit during the current payout cycle on an EOD funded account. Your highest-profit day is $1,200.
$1,200 ÷ $3,000 × 100 = 40%
The EOD funded consistency threshold is 30%, so you are not yet eligible to request a payout.
If you continue trading until your total profit reaches $4,000, the calculation becomes:
$1,200 ÷ $4,000 × 100 = 30%
You are now within the consistency threshold, provided you have met the other payout requirements.
What happens if I exceed the consistency threshold?
You are not disqualified, and exceeding the threshold does not close your account.
You simply cannot request a payout while your highest-profit day is above the applicable threshold. Continue trading and accumulating profit on other days until the highest-profit day represents no more than the allowed percentage of your total profit.
The consistency rule is checked when you request a payout, not continuously while you trade. This gives you the opportunity to bring your account back within the threshold before submitting your request.
Does Flex have a funded consistency rule?
Flex funded accounts do not have a numerical consistency percentage. However, all trading must still comply with GFF trading rules and must reflect genuine trading activity. Having no funded consistency percentage does not override prohibited-strategy or anti-gaming rules.
