How to pass

  1. Reach the profit target of 6% of your starting balance.

  2. Stay within the trading rules and loss limits below.

There is no minimum number of trading days. Once you pass, your evaluation period is reviewed, and your funded account is activated within 2 business days.

Maximum drawdown (end of day trailing)

Your maximum drawdown is the level your balance or equity cannot fall below. It trails up with your profits at the end of each trading day, and stops trailing once it reaches your starting balance. That lock applies in both the evaluation and funded phases.

Breaching it is a hard breach, which closes the account immediately.

Maximum profit per day

On funded accounts, profit is capped at 5% of your account balance per trading day. Once you reach it, an automatic cutoff stops trading for the rest of the day. On a Flex 50K that is $2,500.

Consistency rule: evaluation only

The consistency rule limits how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day, so that profits are steady and sustainable.

During the evaluation, no single day may account for more than 50% of your total profit. If you go over, you cannot complete the evaluation until your best day falls back to 50% or below. Keep trading and building profit until it does.

On a funded account there is no consistency percentage.

Payouts

  • Eligibility: every 5 winning days. A winning day is a net profit of at least 0.2% of your starting balance, so $100 on a 50K.

  • Request window: payout requests are submitted through your dashboard between the 5th and 8th, or the 20th and 23rd, of each month.

  • Minimum request: $500. There is no profit buffer to build up first, so any amount above $500 qualifies.

  • Maximum request: 50% of the total profit on your account, capped by account size.

Payout Maximum

$50,000

50% of Profit up to $2,000

$100,000

50% of Profit up to $2,500

$150,000

50% of Profit up to $3,000

The 50% and the caps above are measured against the total profit on your account, before the profit split is applied. The remaining 50% stays in the account and supports your equity into the next payout cycle.

Example on a 50K account. You have made $4,700 in total profit. Half of that is $2,350, which is above the $2,000 cap for a 50K, so you can request $2,000. At the default 80/20 split you receive $1,600. With the 90/10 add-on you receive $1,800.

Profit split

80/20 by default. You can add the optional 90/10 Profit Share Add-On for an extra 20% of the challenge price:

  • Flex 50K ($95 challenge): +$19.00

  • Flex 100K ($149 challenge): +$29.80

  • Flex 150K ($289 challenge): +$57.80

Traders who do not buy the add-on are paid under the default 80/20 structure.

Holding time: the 1 minute rule

Flex uses its own holding-time rule instead of the 2 minute microscalping rule that applies to the other plans.

At each payout request, both of the following must be true for that payout cycle:

  • at least 50% of your closed trades were held longer than 1 minute, and

  • at least 50% of your net profit came from trades held longer than 1 minute.

If either is not met, the payout request is declined and all profit from trades held under 1 minute in that cycle is deducted from the account. This is not an account breach, and your account stays open.

How this differs from the other rules

  • The 1 minute rule, above, applies to Flex only.

  • The microscalping rule, which deducts profit from any trade closed within 2 minutes, applies to EOD, Sprint and Instant Classic. It does not apply to Flex.

  • Tick scalping, meaning opening and closing positions within seconds to capture small tick profits, is not permitted on any account, including Flex. Profit generated this way may be reviewed and deducted.

Can I make one big day and get paid?

Yes. No consistency rule on funded means we do not dictate how your profit is spread across your trading days. You can have big days and quiet days and still qualify for a payout. That freedom stays.

What it does not allow is deliberately loading nearly all of your profit into one day, then placing bare minimum trades purely to tick off the remaining winning days and unlock a withdrawal. That is not a strategy with an edge, it is gaming the payout requirement. It also closely mirrors external and cross account hedging, where one leg of a position is offset on a separate account or at another firm, so the losing side is sacrificed and the winning side is withdrawn here as profit. Where this is detected the payout may be withheld, the concentrated day's profit voided, and the account closed.

Example on a 50K account. A $2,500 day alongside $500 to $600 on your other days is exactly how Flex is meant to work, and you will be paid. A $2,500 day followed by aiming for the bare minimum of $100 on every other day, purely to complete your winning days, is what this rule addresses.

News trading

  • Evaluation: no restrictions.

  • Funded: a 2 minute buffer applies around high impact news events. You cannot open, close, or trigger pending orders within 2 minutes before or after a scheduled release. Positions opened before the window began may be held through the event.

Overnight and weekend holding

  • Overnight holding is not permitted. Any position still open is closed automatically at 15:55 CT, five minutes before the session ends.

  • Weekend holding is not permitted.

Inactivity

Place at least one trade every 7 days. If no trades are placed for 7 consecutive days the account is breached and closed, and the fee is not refunded. There is no time limit on passing the evaluation, but the account does need to stay active. If you are going to be away, tell support in advance.
